Privacy Policy

Effective Date: March 14, 2026 · Last Updated: June 29, 2026

Herb’s House Coffee (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates the websites at hello.herbshouse.io and marcom.herbshouse.io. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and how you can contact us about your data.

How We Connect Your Activity to Your Identity

When you browse our site, we record page views and clicks tied to an anonymous session cookie. If you later submit a form (for example, a waitlist signup or contact request), we link that earlier browsing activity to the information you provide—such as your name and email address. This means your previously anonymous visit history becomes associated with your identity once you choose to share your information with us.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

When you fill out a form on our site—such as a waitlist signup, contact form, or membership inquiry—you may provide:

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our site, we automatically collect certain technical information:

Cookies

Session Cookie

We set a first-party cookie called _hh_sid when you visit our site. This cookie contains a randomly generated identifier (no personal information) and lasts for 30 days. It lets us recognize your browsing session across page visits so we can understand how visitors use our site.

Authentication Cookies

Our management dashboard (marcom.herbshouse.io) and content editor use Clerk for authentication. Clerk sets its own session cookies on those authenticated routes only. These cookies are not set when you browse our public landing pages.

Analytics and Advertising Cookies

When advertising features are turned on, our advertising and analytics partners set cookies and similar tracking technologies on our site to measure how our pages are used and to support targeted advertising. These cookies are not loaded if you opt out on our Privacy Choices page or if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.

How We Use Your Information

How We Share Your Information

We share data with service providers that help us operate, measure, and improve our site. We also work with advertising and analytics partners that help us measure our site and support targeted advertising. You can opt out of targeted advertising on our Privacy Choices page. We work with these service providers:

Email Tracking

When we send you email, we may include a small transparent image (tracking pixel) and use redirect links to understand whether the message was opened and which links were clicked. This helps us send more relevant content. Open and click events record your IP address and browser information.

Text Messaging (SMS/MMS)

Messages We Send

We may send you text messages for account verification (one-time passcodes) and waitlist notifications related to Herb’s House Coffee services. These messages are sent through our messaging service provider, Twilio.

SMS Data We Collect

When you enroll in our text messaging program, we collect:

How SMS Data Is Used

We use your phone number and messaging data to:

Consent and Opt-In Data

SMS Data Sharing Policy

We do not sell, share, or provide your mobile phone number or SMS/MMS consent data to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Your consent to receive text messages applies only to Herb’s House Coffee and the specific messaging program(s) you enrolled in. For full details on our text messaging program, see our Terms of Service.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. Verification codes are sent once per login or signup attempt. Waitlist notifications are sent infrequently—typically one to three messages per interaction. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for assistance.

Opting Out

You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further texts. You may also contact us at privacy@herbshousecoffee.com to request removal from our messaging program.

Costs

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. We do not charge for text messages, but your carrier may.

Help

Reply HELP to any message for support information, or contact us at privacy@herbshousecoffee.com.

Your Rights Under Texas Law (Texas Data Privacy and Security Act)

If you are a Texas resident, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) gives you the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@herbshousecoffee.com. To opt out of targeted advertising, you can also visit our Privacy Choices page, and we honor the Global Privacy Control universal opt-out signal described below.

Right to Appeal

If we decline to take action on a request you make under the TDPSA, you may appeal our decision by emailing us at privacy@herbshousecoffee.com. We will respond to your appeal and explain the reasons for our decision. If we deny your appeal, we will provide you with a method to contact the Texas Attorney General to submit a complaint.

Global Privacy Control

We recognize the Global Privacy Control (GPC), a browser setting you can turn on to signal that you want to opt out. When your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale of personal data, and we do not load our advertising or analytics tools—you do not need to take any other action.

Do Not Track Signals

Most web browsers offer an older “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting. Because there is no common standard for interpreting DNT, our site does not respond to DNT signals. We do, however, honor the newer Global Privacy Control signal described above, and you can opt out of our advertising and analytics tools at any time on our Privacy Choices page.

Third-Party Collection

When advertising features are turned on, our advertising and analytics partners use cookies and tracking technologies on our site to collect usage data—such as the pages you view and your IP address—so we can measure our site and support targeted advertising. You can opt out of targeted advertising on our Privacy Choices page.

Reviewing and Correcting Your Information

You may request to review, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, email us at:

privacy@herbshousecoffee.com

We will respond to your request within 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.

Data Retention

We retain the information described in this policy for as long as it is needed to provide our services and fulfill the purposes outlined above. Session tracking data and form submissions are stored indefinitely unless you request deletion.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. If we make material changes to how we handle personal information, we will post a notice on our website before the changes take effect.
