Privacy Policy
Effective Date: March 14, 2026 · Last Updated: March 20, 2026
Herb’s House Coffee (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates the websites at hello.herbshouse.io and marcom.herbshouse.io. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and how you can contact us about your data.
How We Connect Your Activity to Your Identity
When you browse our site, we record page views and clicks tied to an anonymous session cookie. If you later submit a form (for example, a waitlist signup or contact request), we link that earlier browsing activity to the information you provide—such as your name and email address. This means your previously anonymous visit history becomes associated with your identity once you choose to share your information with us.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
When you fill out a form on our site—such as a waitlist signup, contact form, or membership inquiry—you may provide:
- Name (first and last)
- Email address
- Phone number
- Company name or message text
Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our site, we automatically collect certain technical information:
- IP address
- Browser type and version (user agent)
- Pages you visit and links you click
- Referring website (how you found us)
- UTM campaign parameters (e.g., utm_source, utm_medium) from links you followed to reach our site
Cookies
Session Cookie
We set a first-party cookie called _hh_sid when you visit our site. This cookie contains a randomly generated identifier (no personal information) and lasts for 30 days. It lets us recognize your browsing session across page visits so we can understand how visitors use our site.
Authentication Cookies
Our management dashboard (marcom.herbshouse.io) and content editor use Clerk for authentication. Clerk sets its own session cookies on those authenticated routes only. These cookies are not set when you browse our public landing pages.
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiries and process membership requests
- To understand how visitors interact with our site so we can improve it
- To identify returning visitors and personalize your experience
- To send you information you requested (when our email service is active)
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share data only with service providers that help us operate our site:
- Neon — Hosts our database where your information is stored.
- SendGrid — Delivers emails on our behalf. SendGrid receives your email address only when we send you a message.
- Vercel — Hosts our websites and may process request logs that include IP addresses.
- Twilio — Processes and delivers text messages (SMS/MMS) on our behalf. Twilio receives your phone number only when we send you a text message. See our Terms of Service for details on our text messaging program.
- UploadThing — Delivers images displayed on our pages through its content delivery network (CDN) at ufs.sh. When your browser loads these images, UploadThing may receive your IP address and browser information (user agent).
- Google Fonts — We use typefaces from the Google Fonts library, but they are downloaded and bundled into our site at build time. The fonts are served directly from our own servers, so your browser does not contact Google when you visit our pages. Google does not receive your IP address or any other information through our use of these fonts.
No third-party analytics services, advertising networks, or retargeting pixels are present on our site.
Email Tracking
When we send you email, we may include a small transparent image (tracking pixel) and use redirect links to understand whether the message was opened and which links were clicked. This helps us send more relevant content. Open and click events record your IP address and browser information.

Consent and Opt-In Data
SMS Data Sharing Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. If we make material changes to how we handle personal information, we will post a notice on our website before the changes take effect.
